Removing destroyed lip
Unfortunately the lip was destroyed on the bumper. Whats worse, is I am unable to find the exact lip as it came with the car when I purchased it.
So on goes the removal of the old lip, while I go ahead and order a new OEM one for the Evo 9.

Engine sent to machine shop
The engine was sent over to a reputable local machine-shop that a near by DSM/Evo owner claims is one of the best.
The engine was removed, and is currently in their hands awaiting a diagnoses. Once I have an idea on what caused the issue, I'll be able to order the proper pistons, rods, etc. An expensive, yet exciting part of rebuilding an engine.
Will be doing some major cleaning // tiding in the engine bay. There are quite a few areas with surface rust, so I will be tackling those now with the engine out.
Transmission and Transfer-case will always be cleaned and resprayed.

Rebuild Time
Evo is dropped off in the location where rebuild will commence.
The plan here is to remove the engine, and disassemble to view damage. While the engine is out, it only makes sense to restore the engine bay.
